Studland in winter is very different to how you see it in summer. The landscape is altogether more bleak; the muted blues and yellows of the shoreline give way to rough greens and browns of the gorse and heather laden dunes. Channels of water turn the beach into an archipelago. The contrast with the height of summer couldn't be more striking.
